Justin Bieber fans cue for tickets on Saturday, the first day of the ticket box opening. The tickets are sold at EX Plaza, Thamrin, Jakarta.

On April 23, the 17-year-old Bieber will perform at Sentul International Convention Center, Indonesia, something which previously was thought to be only a rumour. Fans can buy tickets from Rp500,000 to Rp1,000,000. The tickets also sell online today through rajakarcis.com.

Thousands of Justin Bieber fans, especially teenage girls, waited since 3 a.m. at the ticket box, and the cue was marred by hustle and tussle. Some fans fainted while others cried for help.

"Where are the event organizers? No one is managing the cue. My daughter has been waiting since 5 a.m. and still left without a ticket, ” said a father.

A ticketing supervisor said only 4,000 of the total 10,500 tickets would be sold today. Those who cue but failed to get ticket would be given a coupon available for swapping tomorrow at ticket box or online through rajakarcis.com.

A Canadian pop-R&B singer and song writer, Bieber was discovered in 2008 by Scooter Braun, who happened to come across Bieber's videos on YouTube and later became his manager. "One Time", his debut single, released worldwide in 2009, charted in the top 30 in over ten countries. His debut release, My World, followed on November 17, 2009, and was eventually certified platinum in the United States.
