It's time to fix your kiblah

Today at 4:18 p.m. will be the right time for Muslims in Indonesia who are not sure with the kiblah, the direction that should be faced when a Muslim prays during shalat. The sun is going to be exactly above the kaabah in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.

"At 4:18 p.m. today, the sun is right above the kaabah. It's time for you to fix your kiblah," Thomas, a LAPAN astronomy researcher, said as quoted by DetikCom.

Those who missed today's sun, e.g. you who are unable to see the sun due to the thick coulds etc, can still fix the klibah by looking at the direction of the sun tomorrow at about the same time, from 4:18 p.m. to 4:23 p.m.

Kiblah is the prayer direction oriented to kaaba, a cube-shaped building in Makkah which is considered as the most sacred site in Islam.
